Green Goodness Smoothie- My Go To!

Hey friends! I hope that everyone is staying healthy and happy!

If you are anything like me when you saw someone drinking a green smoothie you gagged and thought “How can anyone actually enjoy that?”. It took me endless trial and error and months and months to perfect, but I finally did it! I made a green smoothie recipe that is delicious and I crave daily! The last time we visited family, I went 3 days without a green drink and was craving it so badly I went to the store and bought all the ingredients to make it. This is a foolproof way to get a hearty dose of greens in and enjoy yourself while drinking it.

We start every morning with my Green Goodness smoothie! Knox yells and reaches for the cup when he sees it! It’s such a sneaky way to get those veggies into your baby’s diet without them even noticing. This is one of my most highly requested recipes, and I am finally posting it!

RECIPE VIDEO


Ingredients:

  • 3 heaping cups of spinach

  • 1 cup of kale

  • 1 cucumber

  • 1 whole avocado

  • 1 1/2 cups of frozen mango

  • 1 1/2 frozen bananas

  • 1/2 cup liquid ( I use almond milk +splash of orange juice)

  • Handful of ice


Directions:

  1. Toss all of the ingredients into the blender.

  2. Blend for 1-2 minutes, until smooth.

  3. Enjoy!
